I have been looking through pictures and magazine cars from the 90s and noticed a disturbing lack of functionality however at the same time there a lot of neat things that if done today with resources and parts we have available today could actually be kinda cool
whats an old trend you don't see anymore that we should try to bring back?
personally im kinda partial to clear lexan hoods, when that was a thing plastics and polymers were low quality and would fade and discolor, these days it could actually look pretty neat and last

Having a 240 that doesn't look and drive like a complete piece of shit would be a nice trend to bring back.

Actual paint jobs. Not the "no fucks given" half assed spray bomb primer and plastidip, every body panel is different horseshit I keep seeing now.
These things stuck on rear bumpers above the exhaust at an angle. This has kinda come to signify the golden era for me.

More interest in older cars, the 70's and 80's cars that are not seen nearly as much as the newer stuff
