Hey guys,

Quick question for those of you with experience. In doing some research it seems like the best option for radiator with this swap is a SR Koyo N flow.

Now I know N flow has special fins that make the fluid go throughout the entire radiator.

My question is, wouldn't it be find to use a KA N flow since the radiator itself forces fluid over the entire core?

Or would I still need an SR rad with the outlet on the other side to get the full effects of the N flow radiator?

Thanks in advance.

The KA radiator does not come in an N-Flo configuration. It has horrible cooling characteristics for a JZ setup. Save yourself the trouble and get an SR N-Flo and just be done with it.

The left side is a normal SR radiator. Now imagine moving the outlet to the same side as the inlet; you have a KA radiator. You can then draw a perfectly vertical line between the inlet and outlet. In a design like this, you're lucky if some of your coolant even makes a 'pass' at all.

The right side is the N-Flo, I don't think I need to explain why it's a far smarter choice.
