Thanks for viewing my post!

I am out to get the opinion of people that have experience with this kit.

I am unable to use the supplied bolts for the lower hole on the second caliper on each side.

On ma "Aluminum uprights(Z32, R32, etc) need to have a few places ground down. Quick work with a grinder. " but it says nothing about modifying the S13 upright other than cutting off the factory caliper mounting points.

I don't want to go grinding down my upright if it is not deemed necessary by the manufacture.

Is there another bolt I can use? Has anyone else ground down there knuckle in this area?

I think its just because they are the alum vs iron castings. I had to do the same to my r33 fronts when using a bbk for a S chassis

I have already cut my caliper to clear the Knuckle (picture is old before I did that) My problem is the bolt will not actually slot into the hole because the head of the bolt will not clear the knuckle.

I hope this clear haha.

The alum ones are thicker cast over the iron version. You can try a smaller head bolt, or a stud and nut if you don't want to cut. It's because your using them on this application vs the s13

I am installing this on a 1992 S13. Are you saying I have aluminum uprights?

I tried to modify a smaller head bolt that was shorter yesterday and it did not do the trick for my. Enjuku was saying they use some sort of allen head bolt but I don't see how it would be any different. I have since asked them for more details.

Enjuku said they would send me some bolts that should clear.

"Hex Head, Grade 12.9, M10 x1.25 40mm total length"

I will let you know If they work!

I've installed a few of these for customers

Shave the spindle with a flap disk. Itll take some time but itll give you the precise clearance you'll need.

I talked to a local shop and he advised me to take the bracket part of the way off and start that bolt on the caliper. It worked like a charm with no cutting and you can use the supplied hardware with the kit.

All I did was undo the four bolts holding the custom bracket on about half way and it gave me just enough clearance to get the bolt in and start threading it in on the caliper. Then I just kept it loose so I could then get it on the rotor with one bolt in the bottom (kind of tricky but do able if you have the one bolt holding the caliper on loose enough).
