I have an ORC clutch part# orc-409-02n for s13 sr20det. I am trying to get the flywheel resurfaced but since it is a step down type clutch I need the spec heights for the flywheel. Has anyone had this problem and how did you get it resurfaced? This is not my clutch in the link below but it is the same one I am running

Does anyone have the spec heights or advice on what to do? Thanks guys!

I looked into this when I did my clutch job. There was a lot of uncertainty about whether or not the stock SR flywheel has a step: some said their's had it, others said it did not. My flywheel did have the step. I looked everywhere for the spec, there is no mention of it in the FSM, but the diagram makes it look like there is. Perhaps Nissan intended it to be replaced with each clutch job, but there is no mention of that either.

When I brought my flywheel to the machinist, he agreed it was stepped and used his experience to re-create it. I think he made it a few thou, but don't quote me on that.
