After doing lots of research on forums and FSM I cannot figure out why my headlights and highbeams don't work.

My 92 240sx headlights don't work and it seems to be an electrical problem. First things first, my headlights and highbeams worked before I swapped my engine and now they won't work since I finished the swap. Upper and lower engine harness are brand new and body harness was untouched. The headlight switched was cleaned and even swapped with a working one. I used a test light and multi meter to diagnose various plugs and the headlights. All the other lights work and the headlights go up and down. Just no low beams, high beams or Hb cluster light. The 2 fuses are fine and I see that they aren't getting any power when the headlights are on. I'm stumped. I traced the wiring looking for cut wires and melted wires but nothing.

Try changing that part or checking it out. Same thing happen to me, and getting a new one from the junk yard fixed it. Hope it helps. Another thing, if your lowered maybe you rubbed your harness.

Still looking for help. Would the rely be bad even if it still clicks?
