Alright its not a 240sx both of mine run great. My daily on the other hand decided to act like the race cars today. So while it was licking windows and shit I just decided to do some diagnosing.

The Daily: 2000 Nissan Frontier 3.3 v6 crew cab 2wd Normally Aspirated

The problem:
Driving around today, the truck fell on its face twice when turning under hard acceleration. (I was below E on fuel)
Filled with gas, problem went away for about 40 miles.

On interstate after said 40 miles doing about 65ish. Truck starts to shudder shake stumble misfire ect... Rough hunting idle, rev's to about 2500-3000 if that much most times it just chokes down.

Eventually it chokes out. Checked spark while it was running, Getting good fire. Unhooked return line and primed pump, got fuel , pressure I am unsure of didn't look abnormal the amount that came from the return line. So to try and induce some pressure to see if running cleared up, i vicegripped the return line just a hair. No change at all. Checked under dizzy cap, looks good, New Plugs and Wires.

So get it towed home hop in to see if it would move it all, fires right up but starts the same issues. I was able to flip it around in my driveway still chugging like a hooker. Here is where it gets weird. I got fed up hearing it, so i planted my foot in the pedal. Pop Pop Pop studder studder.... redline and its beein running fine since about 2 hours.

My bet is on fuel filter or possibly a crazy clogged Catalytic Converter

Bad gas wasnt the cause, im going to try fuel filter and possibly pull the cat off and clean maf. Then just drive it.

Running the tank out you could of picked up some junk in fuel filter. I would also check spark plugs.
