Talk to Satoshi at SystemQ's (link in my Sig.). He should be able to get them. I'm sure others will post with options as well.

Jspec sells them for more than chargespeed lists them for. The only thing i bought or ever will buy from Jspec was my LSD.

The most i'm willing to pay is what chargespeed lists them for 24,000 Yen roughly 240 bucks
thanks for all the other links. I'm not paying 350 bucks for 4 little pieces of fiberglass. I'll try these generic ones (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=2489890772&category=6755&sspagename=WDVW) on ebay for 85 bucks and i'll just cut them to the right size.

hahahaha those ebay ones look like SHIT, and you have to pay 85 dollars while you're at it!!! OMG... wake up now please.

who cares what jspec charges, etiher you can afford it or you cant.. and if you cant, then try finding them for cheaper. in the meantime, jspec has and still IS in business.. which is a lot more to say than most of the fly-by-night businesses out here.

either support the smaller vendors or be quiet.

I can afford a lot of things that i dont buy. Like that new computer i wanted. Or some nice HID's from clearcorners.com . Just cause you can afford something doesnt mean it's worth buying. And i am against price gouging like some vendors do. That's why i'd rather go a different route and not have brand name parts. In my head, i've already decided what a certain part is worth. The market value means nothing to me because they are usually inflated by assholes and idiots.(assholes selling and idiots buying)

people whine about pricing too much. when i go buy clothing, i dont sit there and whine about the price.. i pickup what i LIKE and what i can AFFORD.

i mean, its quite obvious parts in japan are cheaper.. and its OBVIOUS that when they work their way over the states, things get bumped up in price for many reasons. the point is, if you want it and can afford it -- buy it. If you cant, get it yourself for cheaper. but to sit and whine is just annoying to listen to.

if people low-balled less and supported small reputable businesses, there would be less fly-by-night companies that come into play, sell a few goods for cheap, then rip people off when they close business and never refund customers who've paid. its happened to a lot of people i know. end lesson? they end up later paying more to ensure that they get service and a quality/functional/working product.

Just for kicks, try and lookup how much a Borla exhaust for a vette costs in Japan. You'll shit your pants. :)

Var
09-27-2004, 02:37 PM
yeah.. the cost of the borla system in the States is high too. Whetever MIKE i get yer drift. Once i get my rims i'll decide what to get. The chargespeed ones may be to small anyways. I spoke to the body shop guy down the street and he said he can make em for me out of anything..sheet metal, fiberglass, paper, carbdbaord.. LOL...if i was cheap enough i would just tear a box in pieces and pop rivet it to my fenders.

bing
09-27-2004, 08:33 PM
i would like to get these as well... and when i do you can bet your ass i'll be copying them and selling them mad cheap..

but no way in hell am i paying $350 USD + shipping for them.

heck, you can get BRS ones for $180...

to be honest, i dont know why jspec hasnt lowered the price on their flares yet.

Please do NOT give out wrong info if you are not sure.
You are comparing Apples to Oranges.
We sell the chargespeed flares for $220 for a set of 4,
the one in our brand is made by PJ Bonifacio and unless he lowers our cost there's no way we can lower the price.
PJ believe his made in the USA flares is higher quality and stand behind his craftmanship so the price is set.
We never sold a set of the chargespeed flares yet only their aero kits so we can't tell you the quality.
As for chargespeed aero quality it's the same as msport and bomex nothing really above or below jdm standard.
Like we always say you get what you paid for just matter of what you need
and how much you are willing to spend.
Thank you,

Sam
PS--Thank you Mike, give me a call I need a headlight for my zenki s14.

You guys also sold me Masa Replica fenders for $500 on a "hook up deal" when I specified real Masa fenders. The claimed fitment was quite shitty I might say. Big  on that one Jspec. Might as well have bought $100 GTP fenders with all the work I had to do, and they still came out wavy.

Luckily I used Genuine Chargespeed 50mm wider rear fenders, and GP sports stuff so I didn't have to modify those also.

i dont work for jspec, but i do have the common sense to suggest that if you have a problem with a company.. you CALL the company and make whatever efforts to resolve these issues with THEM. it never helps to take a situation and whine about it on a forum unless you have been ripped off and no one has gotten in touch with you and no one will return your money, much like the discussion we're having about the 240sx convention (off topic thread). point here is, if you have a problem resolve it privately. we ALREADY know that jspec is reputable and has been around for years, there isnt a 240sx enthusiast in socal that doesnt know about sam's shop, wayne's shop, my shop, gary's shop, etc etc.. because its a small community. all of us are in business because we pretty much take pride in what we do, providing for a niche market.

so, if you have a problem.. resolve it privately. dont whine about it unless it ends up being something serious.

ps: nice car, minus the wheels. ;)

Being a small business I know there isn't much they would or can do especially after the parts are installed and painted. Hell i work for a small business related to aftermarket auto parts.

I do deem it completely necesarry to bring forth every single issue I have with any business because nobody else should have to deal with what I did again.

When someone says this below, and you find out its a load of shit, Im not gonna go sit in the corner and be like "damn I got screwed" I've done quite a bit of bodywork and I know what to do, but lying to your face is unacceptable in my book.

"Inner Circle Drift Spec S13 to S15 Conversion Fenders.
Made in USA guantee great fitment(PLEASE READ THE CONVERSION FAQ ABOUT FITMENT).
These fenders are 15mm wider then stock and allow you to do the s15 conversion easily without fitment issues.
Made of poly fiberglass(more flexing) and test fitted with quality checked.
You can pay now for the good stuff, or pay later at the bodyshop when they are trying to make it fit."

Yea I paid up front and and paid later. Oh well, car is done, done venting.

JUN makes the best lookin overfenders in my opinion, but by the time you pay shipping youll be looking at over $500. Im pretty interested in these if they are only $220!!!! The JUNs are about $350 i think and most importers want at least $150 to ship them over here EMS.

BTW: IM talking about Coupes... i need some for coupes if anyone can help. I noticed Jspecs are for Hatch only :wtc:

to every transaction there are 2 different side of the story.
most of the time customer complains are from misunderstanding,
but we are going to list our side.

we received a phone call from bobby regarding wholesale price of the masa s135 fenders to them.
our answer was that we don't do wholesale on japanese parts(not enough profit margain to do wholesale) and it would take more then 2 month to order.
last time we order them it took almost 4 month to get here(masa makes them to order just like in and out burgers).
he said he needed a set within a week.
we offering him the jspec s135 fenders and even give him a discount as courtesy(being nice).
item was ship out right away and we didn't get any complain or call back on them(if you receive the wrong product you would call the company and complain).
please tell us about fitment issue with them bobby and if you have photos of them not fitting it would be great.

here are the facts.
1. we sold a few set of the jspec s135 fenders before bobby and havn't recieved any complaint about fitment issue, if there were any we would like to hear about it because this way we can tell the manufacturer to revise them or change another manufacturer.
we carry the jspec s135 fender as a favor to the manufacturer not because we want to sell them(hate selling body parts they are big and easily damaged during shipping).

2. our cost on the real masa s135 fenders is $550 plus shipping from japan, as you can see it's impossible to sell you to them for $500.
any business can tell you they are not in business to lose money.

__________________________________________________ ______________

here are a few things to add to the origional thread.

1. the chargespeed over fender flares are universal and not made to s13 spec so it would need to be trim to fit.

2. jspec s135 fenders are made in japan by a famous bodykit company, they don't want all their dealer to be carrying it(price control). it is a exact copy of the west yokohama fenders.

3. IC s135 and s145 fenders are made by our friend's bodyshop here locally and get test fitted before handing over to us, it is a exact copy of the MASA version 2 wide fenders(yes there are even version 3 now).
the reason why they copied it is because we waited almost 4 month for the last order from Masa Motorsport and that just not a way to do business.

4. all body panel for any conversion would require professional fitment weither it's made in china or japan or usa, it's the reason why bodyshop does better alignment of the body panels then someone who has no experience at home. the quality of the bodyparts will make the alignment(gaps and height level) easier or harder.

Thank you for your support,

Sam
