Hello all,

I just received my car from a mechanic who put a rebuilt ka24e in my 90 s13 hatch yesterday, and I'm experiencing some problems.

The car was originally smooth up until about ~2500 RPM and then the tachometer would freak a little bit and the car bucks around, refusing to rev any higher.

Today, after not being able to start it (engine wouldn't fire) despite trying a couple of times, I came back to it an hour later and it is having this problem at lower RPMs.

I am no car expert and I would just like my car to run right for once. I'm linking a video to the problem while the car is sitting in neutral and if anybody could give any input on it they would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Not sure if that writeup is for sohc though. But definitely find out if the ecu is throwing codes and go from there.
