I WOULD LIKE TO SELL AS A PACKAGE DEAL IF POSSIBLE. NO TRADES. CASH ONLY PLEASE.

I am thinking of changing the front brake setup and figured I would throw this up for sale. All items were bought new, meaning that I bought the calipers new from the dealership, rotors were bought new from Z1 Motorsport and brackets were bought new as well.

Please keep in mind, that in order to make this fit I had to trim the back of the calipers and a bit of the brackets.

Items included:

-2 Calipers
-2 Rotors (2piece rotors that weigh in at about 20lbs per rotor - Per Z1 Motorsport)
-2 brackets w/ hardware and the tool to enlarge knuckle ear holes

The only things that you will need is the following to complete this setup:

-Your choice of Gen2 6-pot brake pads (I was going to go with EBC pads - Part # DP31853C )
-Caliper pin kit to hold pads in
-240sx Banjo bolt style braided brake lines (basically SS lines for OEM 240sx brake setup)
-18 inch wheels
-Z32 1-1/16th Brake Master Cylinder

Please keep in mind that you will have to enlarge your knuckle ear holes with the tool provided so that the bolts will fit since it uses M14 bolts instead of M12 bolts. Also, please keep in mind that if you have PBM knuckles, you may have to space the caliper bracket with washers. From my measurements, the PBM knuckle ears are 12mm and my stock knuckle ears were 15mm. So you may have to do this to center the rotor. Then again, you may not have to. In my case, I had to.

The pictures you see are with 18x10 -20 R-Disk Work Meister 3pc wheels. These brakes are huge and you may have to run a spacer. I had to run a 25mm spacer to clear the R-Disk on my Meisters. You could redesign the brake hardline that goes from one bank to the other on the calipers and get away with running a 10-15mm spacer. I have seen pictures of MB Battles clearing these brakes but I was not able to tell if they were running any spacers so please do your own research.

The set up is nice but that bracket does not fit well from the top mounting point. It puts the caliper from the top about 3 mm to the center. You have to drill the hole on the knuckle more towards the edge so you can slide the top of the caliper outwards. You can tell on one of the pictures that the top sits closer to the center.

Also the calipers need to be install upside down with the brake line hole facing up so that the brake lines can reach. Then you switch the crossover line and the bleeders. Again you would have to grind down the back part of the opposite side now. No big deal though.

It's still a pretty sick set up though and those rotors are nice.

The bracket itself fit well. The problem I had was with the "ears" on the knuckles being different thickness between OEM and PBM. It was 3mm's off for centering so I had to use some washers and some grinding of the bracket itself. But I do agree that you have to drill the hole outwards to push the upper part out a bit. Nothing too major honestly.

You know, I never thought about flipping the calipers and moving the caliper hardline to the top of the calipers (where the bleeders sit now). Thanks for pointing that out. I was going with custom/tucked brake lines all around anyways so length wouldn't be an issue for me.

Only reason I am selling all of it is because I may, in the future, go wider on my front Meisters so if I can eliminate the 15mm spacer that I am currently using, then it would work out in my advantage. But if they do not sell, then I will run them.

The rotors are really sweet. Z1 did a great job on them.

Directly from their site:

"Tipping the scales at a scant 20 pounds per rotor, our two-piece design loses 10 pounds compared to the stock 30 pound 370z sport rotors, a weight savings of 33%."

Seems like a s13 rotor is about 18lbs:

Then again....an s13 rotor is not a 360mm rotor either haha :2f2f:
