All original. Family bought new in 1992 and is a two owner car (family member and myself both titled). Well maintained and garage kept its' whole life except for one year. It is babied. White and complete with boot in boot case etc. Even have original window sticker.

Drove it coast to coast last year and put ~4k miles on it, but has been sitting with a battery trickle pretty much since. Starts and drives fine. New battery in 2015.

Moving and no garage at the new place, so figured I'd put it up and see what happens.

Only issues I'm aware of:
1. Back window did the vert thing (see pic). No leaks.
2. Boot retainer clip is slipping off. Seems to be warped from drying out. Boot sometimes balloons a bit at highway speeds due to this but has never been an issue coming off or anything.
3. Some plastic coming out from under the carpets in driver and passenger footwells. No idea. Dash has no cracks.
4. Cigarette lighter socket comes out of console if its rotated weird when you remove your car charger.

39,854 miles
Absolutely no rust
Interior is 9/10
No tears on seat
Everything works as should (rear windows, top, etc.)
Completely original and unmolested
Window sticker, 2 original keys, and valet key included

Would like to see around $10,000 out of it. Happy to take more pictures / specific pics as requested.

Located in Central IL, PM or email for phone number and showing if serious.

I must admit, I was reading the description and looking at the pics and I said to myself, wow this is a solid $4000-$5000 vehicle. Then I saw the asking price and my head exploded.

ps, I'm ded.

Yeah, I had to post a price so I put the pipe dream up. I'm open to all offers except trades. Please keep the shit talk out of my thread.

That's why I asked.

:picardfp: So what is the price you would actually sell it for?

In his defense, IL is slightly more taxed. IDK what it is about the midwest

For reference... I have a 93 hatch with about the same miles, 5 speed, in MUCH better condition (from the look of the pictures), I would probably ask 8 and possibly get flamed even for that lol. ya way too high dude

Very clean, but a little overpriced.. though, when I tried to sell mine, I did the same thing-- anyways, GLWS! Hope this vert goes to a good home!

it is a 20+ year old car. Meaning all bushings and rubber parts are going out. It is a lot of work re-storing this car to near new. 10k is way too much IMO. more like 4, maybe...

I was like, "5 speed... cmonnnn baby, keep onnnn er, keeeeeeep onnnnn errrrrr..... easy now, eeeeassssyyyy..." then I saw the auto and price. Fuck.

I was expecting like $5,000 as well.

Just so you know there were no 5 speed verts made. I have an sr20det vert and would never ask that price. Unless I liked being flamed. Just saying!

This thing should be absolutely flawless in every possible way to justify anything even close to that asking price.

Or just put the damn thing in a barn with a cover on it and call it a day. Wait until the rest of the broke ass zilvians are older yet still broke, then the one dude who had shitty wifi in med school and couldn't waste his life away on zilvia will pay you a shitload for it. Damn thing is the 2nd lowest mileage 240 I've ever seen. (for good reason tho, wouldn't get caught dead driving that thing in the 90s)
