Hello,
I have searched google, and posted on the stickied post for the SR20s to no avail.

My SR20DET was running fine until yesterday. The engine began idle surging, bogging under throttle, low idle, and fluctuating between very lean (17-20 on the wideband) with the occasional rich spike showing. The car builds boost fine, but still shows 16 on the wideband, until the bov does its thing, which causes it to spike out the wideband on the rich side.

Occasionally the car will be fine, but the issue arises again. I did find that the Blitz BOV was sucking in a tiny amount of air at idle.

I've changed the fuel filter, plugs, cleaned MAF and throttle body. I'm stumped on what is going on. If anyone can point me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated.

Unplug the MAF and see if idle changes. Pull values to see if they are in the correct ranges.

I suggest cleaning the IACV as well. You need to check all sensors as well and make sure they're in spec.

Thoroughly check for boost and vacuum leaks?

It sounds like a vacuum leak but check your grounds. It is possible the MAF is bad too, even though you cleaned it, you may have damaged the electrode, it is easy to do. I mention the grounds because the MAF is super sensitive and a bad ground to the harness will screw it up.

You could do like the others suggested and when the problem occurs, unplug the MAF and see if it changes the behavior.

Idle is going to be MAF, TPS, and IACV. Make sure your harness is plugged into your ECU good.

The only leak I have located is the flex pipe for the exhaust, which is torn. Could this affect anything? I tried diemfferent MAF sensors and the car didn't want to run at all, so I'm assuming my MAF is still good. I haven't had the chance to check the iacv or the o2. Maybe it's one of these? I'm afraid to drive it with how lean it reads
