No.
Alcantara seats are not made by Tee's. Tee's also doesn't make blue seats.
The whole story about them "falling off a truck" or whatever is bunk. They're most likely made in China.

"Tees-USA has contacted me and states that these seats are not authentic Bride seats and have not been sold through Tees. I cannot personally make any claims as to the authenticity of the seats.I was told by the seller that I bought the seats from that they were probable “backdoored” at the place of manufacturing for Bride seats, meaning that they could be the same seats that Bride produces, but made by employee and sold underground with the alcantara fabric. This is all speculation and I cannot verify this claim. I'm sure Tees will refute that statement. The seats I have in my possession are stamped with “Bride” on the knobs, have the headrest embroidered front/rear with “Bride” and have a tag sewn into the seam on the left side that is embroidered with “Bride” over the red figure of the “Holding Monster” (the bride trademark I think). The seats also bolt directly to authentic Bride seat rail (I tested them). Thats a lot of work for a "counterfit" seat. I make no claims as to the products fitness for a particular use and cannot guarantee that these seats meet the same safety standards that Bride uses for their production seats. I will let you make your own conclusions regarding this matter and the seats “authenticity” or likeness to Bride Brix II seats as distributed through Tees-USA and Tees-Japan."

they look like damn good ripoffs to me. Likely a very good deal. Especially since they appear to have all the same dimensions and bolstering of the real bride seats.
And it's not like Alcantara is a crappy fabric. The nicest cars in the world use it. Aston Martin, Lambo, MB, BMW, Porsche, Opel, Lotus, Jag, etc..
..Me thinks ye jest too much...

They do come in better colors than retina-searing blue. As knockoffs go, they're not horrible.

those look UGLYYY. the seats looked deformed or fat or something..
Anyone try these out yet? I'm wondering if they fit like the real ones with the real Bride rails.
It's obvious they are fake, there are some others selling the same seat minus the "Bride" logos on it for 1/2 the price on Ebay. Those could possibly be the better deal...

Real brides are like that too though. The enlarged lower back support which gives it that pudgy look is pretty nice for a medium sized person.

But if they work, they work. Those are some nice bolsters right there. I already have brixes but I'd give them a chance if I was able to sit in them and test them.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I mean thats a helluva rip off. And they bolt up exactly to the bride rails. Personally, I think they're just grey market seats. Bride materials assembled by another manufacturer and covered with a different fabric.
Anyway, i wouldnt mind testing them out.
eyustfu had a pair, but he sold em on ebay after buying them, i think, but if they are decent, i might wanna rock a pair, better than ripped, cigarette hole filled stockers.
so are they good or not? lol

i'd like them if they came in all black, knew the construction quality, and if they diddnt say bride on them. its hard to judge a seat without seeing it in person, which is why its so hard to pick seats...
Here's a set of the unbranded ones. I've seen sets of black/black ones too.
Really cheap but 1 real bride rail is just as much as the PAIR of seats!

WOW! those are fake, they are sold in my city. (calgary, alberta CANADA)
but wow for the price!!! 549 US!
I get them for 450 CANADIAN!
They are pretty decent quality, (fabric wise) but they have play in the seat making them cheap.... by play i mean the seats always rock forward and back a little...like it has loose bolts or some shit..

My brixes do that to an extent. Makes me wonder if they are the same. Do the bottom cushions and back cushions velcrow on like an authentic Bride?

As does mine (http://www.pbase.com/myleftlung/image/27338947/original.jpg). There are a couple mm's of play. Reading the thread on the Subie board I saw the pictures of the BRIDE on the recline-knob and the tag on the fabric. I'm wondering now too.

Well, with any of these knockoff products, the quality will vary.
I remember reading something about Chinese-made motorcycles. All the companies share the same basic designs (most going for a '70s Honda knockoff), but the factories vary from modern computerized assembly lines to barns with dirt floors. So, even if every nut and bolt and bracket is the same spec as a Bride Brix II, the assembly quality can vary widely.
Buyer beware. I wouldn't buy any off-brand products I couldn't see in person first.

i just bought these seats. i don't see what can be wrong with them. as long as they hold me in is all i care. don't really care if they have a name brand on them. i got the ones that are just a blank black cloth seat with red stitching.

The difference is quality. No one has really proven that these seats are the same quality as real Brides.

Good luck getting those to fit. Your going to need custom brackets welded at the very least, even then they will sit pretty high.
but dont they mount up to authentic Bride rails?
revat619

yes they do

you will have to do this with any seat that doesn't bolt to a bride rail. Fortunately, as they said, they bolt to bride rails.

i'll be sure to let you guys know. the seats should be here in a week and it will take a while to save up for the expensive rails. anybody know somewhere that has some in stock?
Motorex is a direct importer. Or e-mail the guy selling the Bride knockoffs he said he sells them for $170 a set.
