Tension rods

SPL. I have them, love them, and would buy them again if i ever broke them from hitting something. The service is awesome. Alan and Kuah were a big help. I even did it by money order and it was quick.

I have a set of s14 spl ones and dont have any complaints about them. Not much experience with other ones but spl is coo.

i would say Tein or Cusco because they have a bracket for mounting a (the) brake duct guide.

i have Battle Version on my car.
i used to have Tein.
if i get something else next, it is going to be NAMS.

The original poster has an S13 (I assume, since his name is "fastbac..."). S13s have no brake duct bolted to the tension rod.

It's actually a Z32 part that some people use on their Z-braked S-chassis; who these people are I have no idea.
Those ducts are fucking expensive.

i have SPL ones
work great do the job and have some good amount of adjustment. my tein ones were near maxed out at 8 degrees caster
the SPL had waaaaay more room if one desires.
