My current set up.
ka24de (stock)
alitima e-fans (still working)
autozone fan controler thread in sensor(garbage)
Before i ran the E-fans on a relay connected to the fuel fuse. A couple of months ago i bought a fan controller to help with fan turnon/off temp ( wont drain battery). Yesturday of only having it for two months it took a shit. Something internal took a dump and wont work. I have source voltage. Checked out all connectors, signal wire and all turn out ok. All show correct voltage to battery. My main question is what BETTER fan controller is out there that i can use for the long run knowing I will throw down a bigger $ amount
heres are some links i found

i like the circuit sports one but dont know if it will last. Please give any feed back on my current situation. And no i will not go back to a clutch fan setup

Autozone special have worked just fine for me in the past:
Hayden Automotive 3647 Adjustable Thermostatic Fan Control https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000C3BB6M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_vbjdxb3Q9RR6Y
I wouldnt hook it up on a fuel pump relay though, or straight to the battery

is the current controller under the hood? maybe it needs a bit of weather proofing. and also to note, you should have remaining warranty from AutoZone if you only bought it few month ago.
I currently have 1 fan hooked up to OEM connector, and other on a relayed switch, which I turn on when the car is warmed up.
I know this doesn't really answer your question on which controller you should buy next, but if you know the one you have worked just fine but just went bad, just get it replaced under warranty.

here is what I have running currently. I took the time to weather prof All the wires since they are running next to the radiator and coolant lines. the controller is sitting where the washer reservoir water neck is away from any heat

maybe I got a bad one from the bunch but I want to see if any one runs a good set up with out having to run the fans manually. have seen a couple of old DIFF setups though but can find one that's in good condition
