Which way should the oil hole be facing when doing install?

If it's the stock rod I believe the side with the text faces forward, but don't quote me on that. The direction is only important if the oil feeds on the crank and rod are directionally chauffeured to the roation of the chankshaft though. That's why aftermarket rods can be installed forward or backward.

Yes, unless otherwise specified in your provided instructions. I personally put the Manley logo forward on my build for extra style points.

Line the hole in the bearing up with the hole in the rod if you have one.

I hace a rb25 Neo stock and the oil hole in the rod is on the same side where the piston has a notch for the oil squirter. And the piston has one position. I hope this help.
