When installing the JGS rubber transmission mount to the cross member, you are required to drill a 7/16 diameter hole in the center of the two factory mounting holes. That's fine and done with, however I would have figured the design would have implemented the factory mounting holes as well as the JGS poly mount is this way.

The rubber mount I have & 7/16 hole drilled in the center. Factory mounts not used? :tweak:

Picture of the poly mount. Factory mounts used as well as 7/16 stud.

Neither of those are made to fit the 240SX mounting holes. They are generic universal Chevrolet transmission mounts that you can buy anywhere on the internet. The only parts in that kit made by JGS are the aluminum spacers.

Appreciate the info. This I already did know, however also figured they'd use a design that had the mounting holes as their poly mount has it. Thanks.

These are universal but can work with a bit of figuring out...I went with drift freak for a bit more cuz I didn't wna do all the drilling...I think it does not use the other factory portions tho

Yeah for sure, this one appears to not use the factory mounting holes in the cross member, just wanted to make sure like stated above, their POLY mounts still use the factory mounting holes.

Thanks
