Anytime I drive at night with my lights on if I press the brake my rpms drop and soon as I let off they jump back up. This happens when anything electrical is used. example- open door, seatbelt moves, rpms drop, lights dim... Literally anything that involves using power makes the car drop rpms and dim. Battery? Bad ground?

Try Cleanin grounds first and also put your battery on the tester. ..

I was thinking about beefing up the ground system. Should I just do 1 from battery to chassis than another one from chassis to engine? Thicker the better, correct?

Usually.. the ground kits aren't bad...I have a relocated battery so it's almost a must...I usually do both sides of the head to strut towers...the intake mani close to the alternator to frame rail and battery to body
