My first good race with the SR

Ok I have to tell some one because my girlfriend dosent want to hear about it.

I was on my way home from school when one of my friends called me and asked if i wanted to join them for some dinner, i said yea and met them at the resturant, but to my surprise it was closed. My friend shows up with his 20th anniversary edition GTI with his new 8000k hid's. So we wait till every one else shows up and decide to some where else.

So my GTI friend pulls out and gets on it, so i was like sweet maybe he'll race. So i pull up next to him and give him a little bit of the hks super-sequental, and he slows down to about forty five, i was happy he decided to go for it. I slow down, put it in second, and wait till his passenger counts down, we go from 45 i slowly start to pull until i miss third. Damn it so we slow down again. he counts off and we go at it again, this time i was pulling harder in second and when i hit third i got a nice view of his new hid's, it was awsome. It was the best because he was the fastest out of my friends until now. His mods included a front mount intercooler, 3 inch downpipe and exhaust, and some chip that makes him run 19 pounds of boost. I think he has some other stuff too but those are the main things.

um.. i don't see any MBC or boost controller in your sig.

ehh.. how much boost are you running ?? I find it hard to believe an SR S14 with 7 lb. of boost can beat a 20th anniversary GTi with 19 lb of boost and those mods..

(i'm just assuming your'e running stock boost since i don't see a boost controller or anything in your sig)

now, if you are running higher boost and don't have it in your sig, then i can believe it heh..

A mod chipped 1.8T with ins and outs has 200hp or so. The tiny turbo it comes with works hard to make that power... plus the car is over 3000 lbs so go figure.

My friend has a 1.8T GTI with a APR Stage 3 turbo kit on it. Supposedly over 280whp and blows away Evos on a rolling start. One of these days I'd really like to see how the ol' SR does against that... :) I was never a big fan of european cars.

It's funny how they dont show the first race right after he does the first burnout.. I guess he got owned.. Then the second race is against a car with a r&s strauss wing.. Ofcourse its gonna look fast.. The the last 2 races look like a 2nd gen camaro, and a buick regal... and they didnt look worked at all..
I have seen some badass VW's and that is definitly not one of them.
