SR20DET New Turbo Troubleshooting

So over the weekend, I've installed a BB s15 turbo onto my SR. The previous turbo was an s14 BB, so fairly similar.

The symptoms I'm experiencing now are:
Boost only builds to around 5psi
Car is running rich (11.5ish at idle)

The only thing I'm aware of that I'll be addressing next time I'm able to work on the car is the CAS got moved a bit. Not sure that this would cause either of those two problems or not.

Other than a boost leak, what are some things I should be looking at?

Sounds like waste gate stuck open.

Post pictures of your boost gauge, maybe you reading it wrong.

I wish it were the case that I'm reading it wrong, but it's not :(. I won't be able to see the car until Saturday regardless. Just trying to gather ideas before then.

When my car was running rich at idle, I changed the coolant and o2 sensors, which helped.

But seeing that you only build up to 5 psi of boost and we're assuming that you suppose to make more than that, you might have a boost leak, which might also explain your rich idle.

Give all the info you can, example, the idle is fluctuating, etc... and we'll be able to help you better.
