Head Studs sr20det

So I got some new arp head studs for my sr20det redtop, and the 2 middle arp head bolts don't go as far in as the other head bolts. All the rest of them are even but the 2 in the middle are hand tight and are equally higher than all the other ones.

Is it suppose to be like that?

Yes it is supposed to be that way. I just recently put my SR back together and mine was the exact same way. If you look closely at the washer pads on the cylinder head you will notice that the two pads where those studs go through are actually slightly higher then the rest on the head.
