Ok so My s14 has a S13 sr..I have a new battery, new alternator, and new starter...

sometimes when i try to start the car nothing happens.. i turn the key to accessory and the fans and radio kick on...when i go to turn the car on i hear a click and nothing happens...after about 20 tries it will start no problem...cold start usually always starts....after a drive it will take a few tries to get it to start...once it turns over it starts...but its bugging me out like crazy why when i turn the key i hear a click and nothing when everything is new....battery is in the rear

Any tests you think I should try will help...my alternator puts out 14v when running ...

anything that will help me figure this out I appreciate it.. I've read a few things about the key cylinder or something?..i just want to fix this :/ :picardfp:

if you need more info just ask

Our cars are getting old Nissan designed it that from the battery there's one long wire to the ignition switch and then from the ignition switch back to the starter, over time that builds up resistance .

The best and most reliable fix is wiring a relay for the start signal that gets power straight from the battery. That relay will be energized from the ignition switch in the start position.

I've had mine wired like this since 2007. The only issue I ran into was I didn't properly tape over the spliced wires and they got corroded overtime from rain. Just letting you know so u can tape it well to prevent that from happening

I had a similar issue recently and turns out my maf was bad. Although I also get the feeling my ignition needs to be replaced. Just a thought in case the other suggestions don't work.
