I know, I know. There's literally dozens of topics on this, and I've read them all with no help.
I have a 1993 S13 with the DE. Rebuilt it several months ago. At the time I did have it running, but had a bad MAF. Replaced it, and it ran but would only idle. And then I moved to my farm. Now that I've got a proper garage I've finally got some time to work on it, but it won't start for some reason.
When I did the rebuild I removed the emissions extras, so it's just bare bones right now.
I have an Accel super stock coil, getting great spark from all the wires.
Fuel pump is priming and there's pressure at the rail. Also I can hear the injectors clicking, especially if I rotate the dizzy back and forth with the ignition on.
I haven't checked compression with a gauge yet, but there's a huge difference in how fast it cranks with the plugs in or with each one pulled. So it's there.
So spark, fuel, compression, all GOOD. Also I've checked the cam and dizzy timing about 1000 times, it's perfect. I can crank on this thing all day, and it will never hit. The ONLY time I get any reaction out of the engine is if I set the dizzy exactly 3 teeth advanced. The engine will kick ONE time as soon as I hit the starter, but that's all.
So what gives? I'm at whits end on this damn thing. I'm sure there's more I've checked, but I'll remember as suggestions are given. I just don't know what else to check/do.
Also, one last thing. The ECU only gives me 55. No other codes.
