how to switch speed sonsors from km/h to mph

I'm going to get the 180sx gague cluster and I don't want the speedo to read km/h so I heard that all you have to do is overlay the stock speedo and switch the speed sensors. How do I do that? I have a 90 240sx fastback with a 93 sr20det

i got a converter box that converts my kmh cluster to mph, making my 180sx gauge cluster go up to 180mph.

89-90 car. You must change out the speed sensor to the 91-93 KA24DE. Then swap out the speedo gauge on the cluster.

Speed sensor's at the back of the tranny with one bolt holding it in place. switch that with your mph speed sensor, keep your current cluster but just switch the tach to get the rpm reading correct.

huh? is it really that hard? just open up the cluster, unscrew the speedo guage from the cluster, and screw in new speedo. Worked fine for me.
