removing exhaust mani with egr?

how the hell can i remove the exhaust manifold with egr pipe? its imposssible, with the motor still in the car. i took out the 2 bolts that hold on egr and unbolted the manifold and i cant seem to be able to remove it. and i tryed to big nut where the pipe meets manifold but no luck just striped it. well i am thinkin i am goin to try and cut the egr pipe with a pair of bolt cutters cause i wont be needing it with the turbo kit so if someone has a better idea please let me know thanx

how did you strip that nut? its over an inch. you musta really tried too hard with a big pair of pliers.
if you had used some liquid wrench over night and then used a big wrench that actually fit it, it probably would have come loose.
if it was me I'd just take it out and block off the intake manifold.
