Posting this hog up for sale, I need to free up some room in my garage before winter, and it's a cool looking paperweight. I bought this car in the spring and I don't drive it much at all, it sits in my garage and gets driven a couple times a month. I've put on about 500 miles on the car since I've owned it.
Over the course of my ownership, I have:
-Replaced Headgasket (Resurfaced the head also)
-Oil Change
-Retrofitted the headlights (will be keeping these, have stockers)
-Compression test (Cylinder #1-6 : 144, 139, 145, 140, 140, 138)
Pro:
The car runs strong as hell, makes 546whp 18-19psi. The car really doesn't need anything at the moment. Tranny shifts clean, clutch grabs, handles tight, and tires are good. The drivability of this car is great, its no different than my dads 5 speed chevy aveo, except 6x the horsepower:keke:
Con:
The car will puff a little smoke after you sit at idle for a while and then blip the throttle. I've done some research and it has to be either the valve stem seals or turbo seals. There is no shaft play in the turbo, nor is there any oil seeping out either side of it, so I'm leaning towards the valve stem seals. It's not a hard job, they are about $2 a piece, just gonna take some time that I do not have being a full time student and also working 30+ hours a week. The car has a vacuum leak somewhere in-between the throttle body and head, when I replaced the head gasket I must have not tighten something down enough, I originally had two but already fixed one :face palm:This does NOT effect the drivability of the car, in fact the noise goes away once you're on the throttle. The interior is clean, no cracks in the dash, door panels could use a little work and the top of the backseats are ripped up a bit, never bothered me too much.

My loss is your gain. This really is a unique car, it's clean and there is no rust. I just don't have any time at all, I'm in my senior year and will be graduating in the Spring (hopefully), it's an important semester for me. The car is mechanically sound and just has a few kinks that need to be worked out. Feel free to ask me any questions!
