Alternator Wire From Battery/Fuse Box

So my KA24E's previous owner didn't have this wire set up right.. there was just a blue speaker wire hanging in the engine bay from where the white wire would have connected..

Had the alternator tested, didn't pass. Decided to go with a quest alternator. Is there an easier way than cutting the loom open and finding the end of the wire and putting a ring connector on it?

It should connect to inside your fuse box. So try to trace the thick white wire coming from out the fuse box

It should be inside the loom right? I haven't looked too much, but I saw it sort of coiled up inside the fuse box, tried to pull it slightly and it wasn't too loose so it's definitely going out of the fuse box.
