I hope your kidding about the clutch, you just have to remove the tranny. I dont know about the gas gauge thing though, Ive never had that problem.

he diddnt say remove the transmission, he said motor. you do not need to remove the motor, only the transmission

it's a matter of having a very stiff suspencion....and in Orlando the people that make roads here don't have freakin levels.....and i go to 100% legal events only...

Stiff suspension or no, on some cars (both s13s and s14s), the fuel level float will have a tendency of hopping over the baffles when the car is moved violently. The only real way to prevent it from occurring is by not doing that sort of thing. If you decide you want to continue doing it, you're either going to have to DIY a solution to the hopping problem, or simply learn to deal with it.
as far as your 100% legal events.. I dunno how that's relevant, but :goyou:.

Orlando roads do suck. Especially with all the construction, but I've never had that problem. Isn't the floater attatched by a metal wire of some sort? You could try bending it a little downwards and maybe that'll keep it from popping out?? Your guage will probably be off a little but it should be consistent.
I dunno know if that would work. I had to replace my tank and that entire ensembly and I can't exactly remember how the gas floater worked...

Flordia roads are noting compared to Michigan roads. I've driven on both and you people have it pretty good.
