K I just want some opinion on this. I did my SR swap bout 4 months ago and after 4k miles on it, i blew the block to pieces due to a bad oil pump. I got another block and im not willing to take a chance on the pump again so im planning on getting a new oil pump. My question is, I have an APex'i Headgasket in my blown engine. Is it feasible to swap that headgasket onto my new engine? Its a metal headgasket so whats people's opinion on this. Im trying to save some cost here since im already so deep in the hole with this project, its not even funny. :bash:

personally i wouldnt, if you wanna do it right the first time around go with a new one, hondas use a metal 3 layer headgasket also, and your not supposed to reuse them ever, so apply that theory to your car

Yes, you can reuse metal headgaskets.
A lot of people don't like to, b/c it's a hassle is it doesn't seal...but I've had good luck reusing metal gaskets, and even OEM headgaskets on my KA. As long as the block and head are clean and straight, it'll be fine.
