There will always be a market for replica wheels, just like there will always be a market for fake watches, fake sunglasses, etc.

What is dissapointing, is seeing a market diminishing due to a rise in popularity of replica products.

And fake split rim bolts are always terrible, regardless of wheel manufacturer.

If I was starting from scratch, and didn't have the cash for original wheels or couldn't find a nice used set, I'd just save for a few months longer, or prioritise other areas of the project. Different strokes for different folks.
