Ok here is the deal. Bought this car in 2003 (if memory serves me right) through my dad (low cost of insurance) from a dude in S. Jersey who had it garage kept and sold it after a bad motorcycle accident that broke his arms, one leg, and his hip. I believe my father was the 3rd owner of this car. Still under his name so I will have everything ready for sale when the time comes....has a clean title.
Fast forward to 2003 and I had my first Sr20 blacktop S13 swap. About 2 years later I spun a bearing while at school and the car was put into my uncles garage for a few months while I got the cash to rebuild. The Sr was rebuilt using crazy parts then sold. Car went back to my uncles garage until I got another stock KA and drove that around for a bit till I got the 2JZ bug. Fast forward to about 2 years ago and M&S Performance in NY was finalizing my setup when I got a business offer I could not refuse but required some serious investment. Sold that setup and the car was back at my uncles place waiting for the funds to build a 5.3 turbo setup. I planned to finish the car this year but ended up moving to Austin, TX and now opened up my own LLC here which required another investment. Given where I live, cost of the condo, the investment, and working for a corporation I do not have the time or space to work on this car. The car was garaged 90% of the time except this last winter and spring while I was making business trips to Austin and my uncle had to boot me out of his place to make room for projects which made him money. During this time the car was moved to my parents backyard since I had no room in my townhouse.
So unfortunately my baby has to go even though it is tearing me to a million and one pieces. I sold my widebody M3, Audi A4, and VW Golf but never this puppy. Sucks growing up but back its life and I must accept.
Ok onto the good stuff. I will provide as many pix and will answer all question but remember the car is in NY so I have to ask my best friend to take pix for me and he is a bit of a [email protected] lol. I will be making a business trip some time in NY and want all of this sold and out of my parents backyard before heading back to Austin so I am already low balling myself.
Chassis/Car Package:
-1995 240sx SE (OBD 1) minimal/negligible surface rust in some areas from being out in the environment this winter (mostly garage kept except winter 2014-spring 2015)
-7/10 condition Nardi Steering Wheel (not installed) with quick release
- Un-cracked dash bought from fellow NJ member (have sale receipt….had no vin on dash when bought but have vin plate for engine bay). Original dash faded out pretty badly so replaced it with this one. Have all panels and trims that I bought along the years.
-All AC components removed but heater setup is there and worked
-No radio or speakers
-Original gauges so you can see original miles on chassis (Believe its under 105k), no accidents, and I believe we were the 3rd owner.
-Some of the interior components installed some are not (all available)
-Cracked windshield…will need a replacement
-Crappy install on carpet but have a newer very clean one in a box going with sale
