Like two days ago I was changing the driver side tension rod on my '90 s13 but thats not the point of this story.....

Anyways, I was walking through a parking lot later that night and I noticed a stripped old school Eclipse sitting on bricks. As I was walking past I noticed that the entire front suspension was the same as my S13's! But the DSM had 5 lug's. Would those breaks fit on an S13? What about the springs and struts?

It boggles the mind :wtf:

no BS, it looks like a dead on match, maybe nissan and mitsubishi use the same parts at one time like dodge and mitsu. do now.

keyword "looks" only way to find out is to go back to that stolen and stripped eclipse and proceed to steal the suspension and put it on your car.

well i'm just asking a question, to me it "looks" they same, not saying that it would fit. But if you ever look at a '90 240's front sus. and a old school eclipse's sus. there are uncanny similarities.

the only things you got to lose are 1) time and 2) your manhood if you get caught stealing the shit . haha

lol i guess so, i might just go to a junk yard and research tho, but i swear they are the same, don't knock it tell you've seen wut I'm talking about. Cuz it just may be a cheaper way to do a 5 lug conversion

FYI, most cars have suspension, so the fact that one looks like another is a no brainer. Similiar suspension systems may look the same, but that does not mean that everything in the world is interchangeable. Most automakers will share common parts, like the Schassis and Z cars, but thinking something from another automaker will work is completely off base. But I'd love to see you take the time, spend the money, and learn the already obvious.

So I should return these C5 Corvette headlights then? I just figured they would fit since they were pop-ups and mine are too. :cj: :cj:

I own 1 of each and the bolt patteren is the same, but that's about the end of it. The only thing I have ever seen is adapters on eBay that allow you to use 3000GT/Stealth rotors with Z32 calipers.
