Good for frp hood and hatch or nah?

We generally don't recommend for FRP/Carbon hood because every hood is made different where the hood/hatch bracket section might not be strong enough to sustain the hood damper pressure.

Some quality hood manufacturer reinforce the bracket underneath the hood or hatch with metal brackets, if that's the case then yes you can use it. But for hood with just merely fiberglass under layered with no metal bracket reinforcement we don't recommend using the dampers.

hey Wayne! I need new ones for the rear of my coupe trunk. would any of these work?

The dampers only for hatch back, coupe model doesnt use dampers at all.
