I made a mistake and bought a set of Klutch wheels off of a guy second hand. Overall I like the wheels. But the clear coat is jacked on all of them. I started stripping them but only have the first wheel kinda done. They paint their wheels very well because this stuff does not want to come off easily. I am using aircraft stripper. Anyone else strip a set of wheels before? Tips?

Maybe try brake fluid. One of my calipers was leaking and the resulting fluid stripped away and lifted some of the paint on my super advans. I was not happy.
Try brushing it on and let it just soak.

Go price out a mediablaster or dipper. It will be worth it in the long run for you time.

if it's powdercoated media blaster will get it dipped first then blast clean. I got quoted once to do mine over the phone. I didnt tell them it was powdercoated. they got mad because it's extra work.
