Hey guys, so I recently went to install a z32 ebrake setup on my s14 and ran into a problem. Im running circuit sport rotors in the rear and they don't fit over the ebrake shoes. I have the shoes adjusted to as small as they can go and the rotor still won't go over them. Any help is appreciated, need to get this fixed

are the circuit sports rotors z32 rotors or s14 rotors?

they are for an s14 with z32 rear calipers. I figured they should work with the ebrake...

Negative. You need z32 rotors. S14 do not have the design to work with an internal drum ebrake.

Turns out it wasnt. Ordered z32 rear rotors and they are the exact same dimensions as my s14 conversion ones. They also dont fit over the ebrake setup

Did you put the ebrake handle down?

ebrake setup isn't on the car yet. I have the knuckles off with the backing plates and hubs installed on it. Did some more research and it looks like I need to use washers on my anchor bolts.

Oh, yeah. There's two different styles of hub -- either with tabs or without. Ebrake setup needs to correspond to hub type.

I swear I don't ever remember my e-brake install ever posing that much of a problem. Maybe if you included pictures of your problems we could assist better then just relying on your descriptions. And potentially help you avoid future problems as well.

its on the car and good to go. Anchor bolts not being spaced out correctly was messing with the alignment of the brake shoes and was causing the rotors to not fit correctly. Thanks for the help guys

That's damn near a quarter inch difference, you didn't realize that your shoes were out of wack on the initial install?

I noticed that one of the shoes was a bit off, but the other one was sitting fine. Didnt realize that there were two different types of anchor bolts untill I did some more research. Oh well, its on the car now and works great
