Hey people, My ka24det was running good but used to smoke after idling long and at gear shifts, it was NOT smoking under acceleration. So i searched and found that it was the seals and guides, I just got the guides and seals done from a machine shop, got the head back and after installing it it has started to smoke constantly, could be turbo but there is also oil on top of pistons.
checked the compression and it was 110-120 psi across the board
previous compression test numbers were 165-175 psi, adding oil did increase the compression by almost 20-30 psi
Today i did a leak down test and three cylinders had air hissing from the exhaust valves, when i checked the 4 cylinder air was coming out of the 3 cylinder spark plug hole
took the head off and sprayed brake cleaner into the valve chamber but there is no leak, should i go to the shop and ask for them to check guides or seals or something else or is it possible that something else has gone wrong. Any Help appreciated.
