Is there anyway to ship a US 240sx to Canada because of that seatbelt issue?
Like can you install the Canadian spec seatbelts then bring it up or bring it up then install them?
I tried searching but i only found info on jpn to na and like cdn to us..
Thanks in Advance

Search around, there are threads covering the Seatbelt swap. Just order the parts and do it yourself. You need the belts and the trim pieces. No sense in shipping your car to The Great White North just to get rid of the automatic belts.

Oh? Stupid me didn't see where you were from. Not sure if customs would be a problem or not. Sorry. Any Canadian Zilvians wanna help this guy out while I remove my foot from my mouth? :bowrofl:
www.riv.ca
check it out... you can't swap belts, and you can't import a 240sx from 89-91 with auto belts.

yea i checked out riv.ca.. thats why im posting.
So there is no way what so ever to import a US 240 up here?
Any help would be appreciated.. I really have my sight set on purchasing this US 240
you can import one if it's a 92-93 or if it doesn't have auto seat belts.

i wonder how this guy in bc registered his 91 us 240sx with manual seat belt conversion. scroll down... http://www3.telus.net/kreen/
he got lucky...
Maybe the custom's agent did not check the VIN

but it would be legit wouldn't it?
I'm shipping the car through a company, not driving it up myself..
So i guess my question now is will they let it across the border and just hassle me if i try to register it? Cause i think i just might buy it, take out the goodies and things i need and let it sit in my backyard as a parts car kinda thing?
