Hey guys,
I just graduated from California and I sadly ended up here in NY for a job (no offense, but your seasons go from terrible to terrible ugh, and a few weeks of goodness). I ended up selling my s-chassis and I'm thinking of doing another project in the future.
Context: Right now I live in Brooklyn, I'm all about that minimalist frugal life, and I have an entry level position in the creative advertising industry.
Goal: After 2 - 3 years of setting up my finances and clearing debt, I want to start a new car project
Question for you guys: Realistically, what salary bracket/range do I need to make if I want to start this whole s13/14/z33/whatever project again and yet be comfortable? The project would go towards 1 monthly Autocross session or going to VIR a few times a year.
I'm thinking that getting a s13/s14 or economically equivalent car will be cheaper in the short run, but it'll equal out in the long run when compared to buying a more expensive car up front.
