*Alright I have done search and what mostly came up is with people arguing/flaming, etc back and forth. So hopefully this post will come up clean and just the opinons/answers that would help.

First off-
My car- S14 SE KA, mostly basic suspension parts
wheels - soon to purchase 17x9 27mm offset, imatation Advans, only used on weekends on Blood Mtn (north Ga)
My style/preference- Grip, butwould like to be able to break traction and drift a corner when I'm more confident of my skills.
Road conditions- paved, hardly any pot holes or almost none, hairpins with the corner having higher shoulders on direction of corner, 1-2 180 type corner(s), 2-3 late/multiple apex corners, no guardrails

if theres more info needed, I'll edit my post.

Now to the subject at hand:
Since I'm going to use the wheels on the weekends and their pretty cheap if I bend them, I was wondering if anyone had good results with their driving preference using Toyo Proxes 4 stretched? I might be able to get a discount on the brand and model tire specifically, I have searched and found other members stating which tires they found to be good for stretching.

Reason I asked was that my tires I got for free suck like crap (kumhos) and have made me understeered and gave and lost traction when I missed judged a corner even when going 25 mph.
