That's the link above to the ad. I love 240's and Ive been looking for a project car! I have another car as a daily. It says the head gasket is blown and probably warped head, that's not a big problem since I was probably going to rebuild the engine anyways. Anyone have any thoughts on if I should do it?

If the head's warped you're gonna need machining or probably a new head which can be costly. It might almost be cheaper to buy a running KA and swap it honestly. I see KA's sometimes with transmissions for like $400. Body looks straight though, just check absolutely everywhere for rust. Especially around and under that spoiler and the hatch. Get under that thing and make sure frame's all good. Normal used car stuff.

Seems like a pretty good deal for a full 240, and if you're prepped to do the head then I'd say go for it. Could use some TLC but who minds that? Otherwise it looks like a good driver.

Dunno how much rust you guys have to worry about down south but it looks pretty straight.
Obviously some cosmetic stuff and the whole head issue but you speak of rebuilding the motor as if it's not an issue.
If the interior is all there and black and clean, I'd throw him an offer.
Thanks for the find!!! Race ya there....first come first serve right?

Haha well since you have to travel to the other side of the country, and I have to drive only 20 minutes, let's do it!

Also the guy said there's no rust, and it's a solid chassis overall. I might even just buy a whole new engine and drop it in there! If I check it out I just gotta make sure it's a solid body honestly and I think we'll be good to go. Btw I heard mods and maintenance for these 240sx's are cheap and plenty, is that true?
Are your parents okay with you keeping that POS indefinitely at their house? Aka 3-4 years

Looks like a Misty Blue Metallic, pretty uncommon factory color. As long as this won't be your only means of transportation, I say go for it. You'll have your work cut out for you though.
I called your mom last night....

The current owner of the car get the "Genius of the Year" award, the photo of the interior is taken from outside the car with the door closed and window up.
