got a call on a totalled veh from USAA, states police report says 96 nissan speeds excess over 150 and flipped about 15 times...pulled the title and it was a 240

Rolled 15 times? Is the driver even alive to contact? I mean even if it had a cage and full harnesses, that's alot of rotations.

he was prolly goin less than 50.
still, horizontal speed doesn't affect vertical accelleration due to gravity.


i'd be surprised a car would hold together at all going 150 and flipping so many times. heh
like that FD that was goin 220 or whatever...came apart after like 1.5 rolls

Yes. Horizontal speed does not affect vertical acceleration, but it can add more damage due to the fact the sudden stop is 2 directions, not just one. Also, the distance traveled (if in fact going off a cliff) can be the variable between a 10 foot cliff and a 100 foot cliff.
