see if you can find out how many link apart the marked links should be, then mark em.

i'm not sure how SR's are, but for KA my lower chain has 2 silver links and my upper chain has 3 silver links, and between each silver link is a certain number of non-silver links. if you can just find out how far apart the silver links are supposed to be, you're good to go.
it doens't matter which links you use, only how far apart they are so the sprockets sync up correctly.

What you should have done is mark the links before you took it apart...
Set the motor at Top dead center, the key way on the sprocket should be at 12 o'clock
Line the gold mark with the matching mark on the crank sprocket/gear ( whatever you want to call it)
NOW, while looking at the motor ( you are facing it.. working on it)
to the left of the chain ( intake cam side) count 56 roller links ( the silver rollers) from the gold, that should be one matching mark for the intake cam gear.
Do the same thing for the other side counting 48 roller links.
There should be 20 roller links between those two matching marks.
install oil cover, crank pulley, etc etc etc

You have not taken it apart yet |?! ??
Damn, you shouldn't be stressing it, just set it at top dead center, and mark the chain were it meets with the mating mark on the cam gear ... E A S Y E MOTHAFUCKA .. I doubt you had taken it apart already.
oh well, good luck
