I have heard that some folks are still going to make an effort to head out there...Although there would be no track event, it would be nice to see a bunch of 240's cruizing the strip...

iirc, the KC event (put on by good old Louis Snodgrass) was simply a big Nissan meet. I can't remember what they called the event, but it definitely was NOT 240sx-only.

Didn't I tell you? 2002 was pretty damn cool (worth my 8 hour drive). Don't think of the National Convention as simply a lame & boring car show. Think of it as a "meetup ++++"

But its also been recognized as the first national convention even Alex (mav who organized the one in cali for those that dont know) says his was the 2nd ;)

Either way, I am heading out there, I hope I meet some of the NV fellas...maybe we can organize a little cruise. Maybe they will be nice enough to show folks some cool drift spots around LV...

By technical definition, 2002 was the first "240SX-only" convention.

But I still refer to Louis' event (which was called "United Nations of Nissan, UNN") as the first event.
