I searched around and I couldn't find quite the right answer to my question, so I hope somebody knows. I already have all of the parts in my garage to do the brembo evo IX swap and I found a good deal on a double staggered set of Nismo LMGT4's. They are 17x8.5+40 in the front. This seems like it might be a little too much offset, anybody know for sure?
Thanks
Ryan

That's going to hit the coil, let alone the caliper.
a 9" wide wheel with a +25 offset is about the min. you can run in front without hitting the spring which means at least a 10mm spacer to get it off the spring. Brake clearance depends on the wheel face but I'd guess a 10 or 15mm spacer at least as the evo brembos are pretty wide.
I'd say stick to z32 brakes anyway, but that's me.
