Just some food for thought: one non-engraved 18x9.5 Omori spec LMGT4 for the r33/r34 was 84,800 yen, which is about $684 with the current exchange rate. So yes you could get them cheaper if you knew someone that could ship them over for you.

These have already come up on Yahoo Japan for about 290,000 JPY for the 18*9.5s, which equates to $2,335. After fees and shipping to US, you're maybe talking $2900. Too bad they only come in black!
