it doesnt matter what brand really
all will do a fantastic job
install is pretty straight forward but if you fuck up youll destroy your LSD
if you have to ask, i wouldnt do it!
most come w/ all the stuff you need
to put a lower gear you'll need TONS of new stuff bearings and all and press out your pinion and put in the 4.11 one in and the ring gear.

4.11 wouldnt be much of a difference from the 4.08 facotry. go with at least the 4.36 :)

well im thinking of just getting a stock vlsd. should be enough for right now.... i need to do some body work so bad it isnt even funny.. and interior:) but maybe slap a set of 436's in it:):):) besides, these all season tires need to go too, so money could be distributed a lil better:)

a good lsd is probably the best buy you can get, plus they are CHEAP these days. Cheap being relative to "back-in-da-dayz"

i dont drift so i like quaife

quaife is also about $500 more than a clutch type. but, i guess, probably the best LSD available for road racing.

i suggest kaaz if you're in socal, local support. anywhere else, either kaaz or nismo but you really can't go wrong with any aftermarket lsd and it is the best purchase i've made.

No fucking doubt.. I bet I could get a new diff and installed for about $3-400 less than I paid when I got my first Kaaz.

Around $1080. I seriously love it and I've never heard anything but praise for it. Heres some links for it.

Get Kaaz. If something where to go wrong you could send it to Kaaz HG here in cali. Instead of having to send it to japan.

can you send a tomei to kaaz too?

Or you could get a Deftforce and nothing will go wrong with it ever. They're really built that good, that's why the oil change interval is 2 years and the rebuild interval is 10 years.

I just put in a cusco RS 2-way. If you are using your car for drifting this is defenatly the way to go, and it dosn't make any nosie. vs. the kaaz witch is very loud. If you are interested I have a good jdm vlsd, out of an s14, for sale.

Dont get a VLSD, dont waste your money and time, get an open diff and weld that shit, that's what I run and its the shit, most comparable to the Kazz 2way, well that's if Luke welds it...

i'll suggest nismo for daily drive/weekend race set-up. Kaaz for drifters & racers. never had experiences with cusco/tomei/others before.

My Nismo Rocks and quiet so I can still hear the whispering coming out from the stupid stock cd player. :hammer:

ive got the tomei tech trax advance. works great. pretty much every 2 way clutch type works great. and what was that guy saying bout fluid change interval 2 years on the deftforce..... sounds weird. i dunno bout waiting 2 years on a fluid change for a lsd....
