I just finished the S15 front end. And I've got some wheels that I've got set and ready but I found some 18x9 wheels and 18x11 +0 :eek2: wheels I found. They said they stick out +10 in the front (which is fine because the new fenders are +20 wider) and the rears stick out +80. I don't even know if I could move the rear end out far enough without looking stupid. I really want to rock these wheels but it seems I would need to get like add-on widebody rears and fukn fender flares on top of it haha.
Any suggestions on add on rear fenders or a way I could fit those wheels without it looking so gay? :fruit:

Where'd you get those numbers (ie they stick out 80mm more)?
For a S14, 9 +15 is a good fitting size front and rear, so 9 +0 with wide fenders is fine. And an 11 +0 only sticks out 40mm more than a 9 +15, so any 50mm wide fender would fit them, or 30mm fender if you want to stretch tire and run a good amount of negative camber to make it uber flush.

17x10 +25 fits perfect in rear with no camber correction other than the natural negative camber from the shock/spring drop on my car. seems like a +50 in rear might work but i could be horribly mistaken.

exactly wut i was thinking...they've had those 4 a while now.
don't "ROCK" large/wide wheels, unless u have the power to back up their size, ur just losing power & ur mpg if u don't. :wackit:

Thanks for the comments guy, yeah they are the ones from JSpec and the pricing is really good. They say on their website they stick out 80mm from the fender. If they'd only stick out 50mm that isn't bad. They have 265s on them and I have some new 265s I could toss on so they'd definitely be stretched. I don't want to look Mexican rocking them though. There must be a way :) Would a fender flare for the rear look gay if there wasn't one on the front? Ok yeah I guess it probably would, wish I could see a picture of a car like that.
As far as power I have a built SR20 with a 57 trim T3/T4, plenty of power is there, these wheels would just be for show and cruisin' Different wheels are used at the track and for sliding.

if you are concerned about the look of the wheels in the rear. mount them, take em to a body shop and have them pull the fender out accordingly. this way ur not slapping on extra panels to ur car that u don't really need.

take a look at my sig, the green panels in the rear are +50mm. they're a huge gap to make up for. the only real solution is crazy negative offsets. with that, other aspects of your suspension setup will need to be adjusted...that's y i say 50 is too much. 30 is perfect...
but in ur case, just mount them and hav a shop deal...

theyll never look right no matter what you do

the fronts will fit no problem, just roll front fenders, 225 tires and slight negative camber up front....
rears have no chance unless u go widebody
but yea, 18x11 is pretty overkill, people are going wider and wider for no reason other than the bling factor

50mm overfenders would easily tuck those rears in. I would actually try to get 40mm overfenders if I was going to run that setup. As for the front wheels, I'd run 30mm bolt on spacers and 30mm wide fenders. That setup would look awesome.

yeah, our cars don't make enough power to warrant more than a 9" rear (in most cases). vette and cobra owners run these sizes and they have like 500-900lbs over us and a TON more torque.
if you have everything set up correctly and you can drive hooking up with a 9" tire shouldn't be problem. then again, half the kids with our cars don't want to hook up, they wanna DRFT y0... so... whatever.

Yeah I'm probably going to just hose the idea after what everyone is telling me. I think I'll just stick with 18x9 all around, makes me sad ;( but functionality over finese has always been my moto.

18x9 isnt functionality over finesse hate to tell u

Functionality is determined by what the car is being used for. If you want to mix functionality w/ finesse I'd say 9's in front and 10's in the rear. I like phat asses anyway :) .
Makoto: any type of racing outside of sanctioned tracks/events is dangerous and ignorance.

Whats wrong with 11 in the rear, overkill is never a bad thing. Just get the 11 inchs wide, with a 50mm
