Hi i have a 1995 automatic 240sx s14. I was going to be trading it for a 1989 240sx s13 hatch with a manual ka24de swap. i was wondering is that a fair trade ? His car has nice paint, mint interior, infiniti big brake kit, coil overs, and he is also throwing in a t3 full turbo kit , not a ebay kit. Just want to hear some your guys opinion.
Here is the ad to my car with info and pics: http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/cto/5029679105.html
I'm going to be looking at it in about 4 hours.

Just keep your car and 5 speed swap it. Put some time and money into it over a period of time and it will turn out good.
Dont be in a rush to slam your car on coils, do the body work and 5 speed first, you will be happy with it.

Thing is my interior is really rough and his is mint, his car is cleannnnn interior wise , the s13 is a nicer car. My plan is to do a LS swap in the future.

On a serious note make your own decisions, you have to live with it!
That's one to grow on!

So much truth in this. Personally I'd keep your car since it works well.

Buy a mint S14 interior and swap it then.
No point in buying an s13 "with a t3 turbo kit" if you plan to fit a V8 in it anyway.
also, "This posting has been flagged for removal." is all i get from your link so i think you can forget about it.

Well who cares about the t3 turbo kit. Keep your s14 and find interior bits for it, that isnt that hard. Be a man and make a choice, sometimes the easy way out isnt the smartest.

Everyone is right, it is your choice. The only plus I see with trading down to a '89 is if you have to do emissions... it is now exempt! GL, just don't give up on your car

keep your s14 and do a manual swap and do all the other little things yourself to it for 1 you'll be happier with a car that you did a bunch of work on yourself and for 2 s14 is superior to the s13 imo, and for 3 the post has been flagged for removal on craigslist... but in the end its your car and your choice

I personally love the hatch and would prefer an S13 to an S14 anyday. But that's me. It's your car, so you get to choose. If you like the S14, get it. If you love your S14, keep it. Do what you want.
