i kinda crashed my car about 7 weeks ago, and i took it to this one frame and alignment shop near my house. they supposidly straitened out my frame. and i ddnt change any parts cuz the day after i crashed it i was supposed to go to japan. so wen i went to japan, i bought a lot of arms for my car, nd new tie rod nd tension rods. i installed all my parts and all i had to do now was get it aligned. its been a about 3 weeks now ever since i got my new parts in and aligned. my front camber is supposed to be both 2 degrees. i have the cusco pillow mount so i could adjust the camber. but if u look at the bolts that adjust the camber, its in totally differnt posistions from left one and the right one. and i dont know whats causing that?!?!? so i told my friend and he looked at my rear ones and he noticed that one of my lower control arms are bent. and i thought he was messing around cuz i just got them. but the drivers side was bent, with all these scratch marks. its the ikeya formula lower control arm. do you think its too late to tell them to replace it. i mean its pretty bad. what if i cant prove that they did it.

Tough break.. You could've bent it just driving over a pot hole.

The tick marks on the camber plates are just there for visual reference, not for actual camber numbers. So even if they look off, if it's been aligned, the camber is the same on both sides. Unless the alignment shop really sucks.

Maybe it was bent when you got them? Maybe it got bent during shipping? Maybe it got bent during the frame pull (did they pull in the rear?)? Maybe it got bent on the street?
There's too many possibilities. Plus I can't really see how they would bend a control arm pulling a frame rail out. If one of the rails was bent outwards and had to be pulled back in, then I could see it, but not pulling it out... Even then they shouldn't even have to touch the control arm. You probably hit a pothole or something laying in the road, which would seem to explain the bend and the scratches.

just wondering, how much did they charge you to pull the frame?

they charged me 250 to pull the frame. and also to saltys answer, i bought them brand new at autobacs in japan. nd i brought it back. nd they pulled the frame before i got my parts. and it cant bend while im driving, cuz its bent from the top with all these marks like they used a crow bar or somthing. ionno. they were expensive thats y im pissed, it was 700 dollars nd my grandma bought it when i was in japan

if they didn't block your car or use clamps to keep it in place they could have put too much load on the suspension easily bending your control arm. stuff shouldn't bend if they do it right... i'd get new parts from em.
