I made a post earlier about doing a home rebuild vs sending it into a place to get it done.
Now after more research I'm wondering if it is just cheaper and more efficient to just swap in a new sr20det?
I found a nice redtop long block for $1600 supposedly it has under 32k on it
I also found this on japanese classics ( http://japanpartsservice.com/products/nissan-180sx-type-x-sr20det-engine-and-manual-transmission-swap-1989-1998-s13-s14-silvia )
So do you guys think it'd be cheaper to just swap in a new block and sell the spare parts or is it a better idea to just rebuild mine?
I'm only shooting for around 350 whp in the end so i'm not sure if it need to strengthen the bottom end much besides head gasket and ARP hardware.
