So i put bigger injectors on my car. But it wont start up because its dumping too much fuel. How do i make the safc dump less fuel on start up?

By getting rid of the safc and getting a real tune

Not everyone has the money...

if you have the money for bigger injectors and a safc, you have the money to buy an enthalpy ecu.

SAFC might help the gap between 370cc and 400cc but even 440cc would be a stretch and certainly not 550cc or higher. Get the smaller injectors back on or save up for the ECU tune. You need a whole new map for larger injectors like that.

Okay thank you

Okay thank you

No prob, sorry it wont work out the way you wanted it to. Was there any reason for the larger injectors or just taking advantage of free parts?

Haha taking advantage. More power to the ka

First of all, bigger injectors will do NOTHING positive unless they're needed. You're taking advantage of your own stupidity...

Second, EVERYTHING you need to know about an SAFC is in this thread...

Okay i lied. Its a basic question i needed answered. Its my Friends 86 rx7, has 850s on it. But it wont start because its flooding. Needed to know how to adjust for start up. Im not stupid enough to just put injectors on my car.

Rotaries flood randomly even in stock form. Just to start your buddy needs to do a start-up procedure. Once you flood a rotary, you're FUCKED.

Yea thats why i asked the basic question. Because i didnt know if the safc is able to adjust startup afr's

Actually the fuel map won't change. He needs a change in the K value and to set injector latency.

But an SAFC is a piece of crap and cannot do it.

@OP if it was given to you, it means it has no value. Or it was stolen. Or both. Your choice.

Anyway, the best you can do with an SAFC is to really bin it. An SAFC modifies the MAF signal, it lures the ECU into thinking there is more/less air going in. The problem is, by doing that it also messes with timing.

and then you need new pistons (or new rotors).
